PTSO

PTSO NEWS

Welcome to the PTSO information page! We hope you will find the following information useful

PTSO meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month in Room 12 at James Monroe. We encourage everyone to attend. Even if you don't have time to volunteer, it's a good way to find out what's going on at the school. Our next meeting is November 6 th at 6:00.

HAUNTED HOUSE
As you may have heard, the Haunted House has been cancelled. PTSO has, in the past, offered games and food next to the Haunted House and that is cancelled also.

RECYCLING DAYS
Thank you to all who participated in the Recycling Day we had in September. We collected $100.00 in cans and plastic bottles!!! What an easy way to make some money for the school! Here is a schedule for this years Recycling Days :

So, bring your cans and plastic bottles before or after school! Thanks again to all who participated!!

JOIN PTSO
Don't forget to join PTSO. There will be a form in the newsletter that will be coming home soon. You can send it back with your child or drop it off in the office.

READING PROGRAM
Did you know the PTSO funds the Reading Program at school? Over the summer t-shirts were purchased and the kids are really excited about wearing them. Students must read 400 pages the first month in order to get a t-shirt. After that they will receive iron-on paw prints for every 350 pages read.
