Congratulations go out to the James Monroe Concert Band for their fine festival performance. They earned a unanimous superior rating from the judges at the Serrano Band and Orchestra festival on March 11 th . They performed Mystic River Fantasy, Korean Festival, and Dance Episodes. Beginning Band performed at the "Music in the Schools" concert on March 17 th and impressed the audience with Regal March, Pirates Cave , Beethoven's Ninth, and Dragon Slayer. Good luck to those student's that are participating in the solo and ensemble festival at Burroughs on April 24 th .
